While we are confident you’ll love your purchase, we understand that issues may occasionally arise. This policy outlines our process for returns, refunds, and exchanges to ensure transparency and protect the integrity of your order.

GENERAL RETURN GUIDELINES
To be eligible for a return or refund:

Your item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging.

Returns must be initiated within 15 days of receipt.

Items must arrive back to us in original, resellable condition.

Include your order number, packing slip, and contact details in the return parcel.
Please note, we do not accept returns for:

Furniture, artwork, lighting, or mirrors

Made-to-order or custom pieces
-
Gift cards, sale items, or items marked Final Sale

Items that do not fit in the intended space, or are no longer wanted/needed
We highly recommend requesting fabric/finish samples and reviewing product details before placing your order.
Once production has commenced, all production costs have been incurred. Therefore, cancellations or refunds are not possible.
EXCHANGE POLICY
We accept exchanges on eligible, non-custom items that meet the return guidelines above.
To request an exchange:

Contact us within 15 days of delivery.

Item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging.

Exchanges are subject to availability.

If the new item is of higher value, the difference will be invoiced before shipping.
Please note:

Custom and made-to-order items are not eligible for exchange.

Return shipping costs for exchanges are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
DEFECTIVE / DAMAGED PRODUCTS
If your item arrives damaged or defective:

Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Send photographic evidence and a description of the issue.

DO NOT return the item without first contacting our team.
Our team will assess the situation and offer a refund, repair, or replacement. A claims specialist will assist with next steps.
REFUSED DELIVERIES
If an order is cancelled while in transit or refused at delivery (for reasons other than damage):

A 25% restocking fee will apply.

You will receive store credit only.

Refused deliveries do not guarantee a refund.
To avoid issues, please initiate a return after receiving your order.
NON-RECEIPT OF ORDERS
If tracking indicates your order was delivered but you did not receive it:

Notify us within 3 days of the marked delivery date.

We will assist in opening a claim with the carrier.
La Galerie à la Mode is not liable for stolen packages or orders marked as delivered by the carrier.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs declarations, and import duties. Refunds will be processed once the item is received and verified to be in original condition.
FINAL QUALITY REVIEW
Each item undergoes a detailed inspection before shipping. Natural variations in material, color, or texture are a hallmark of handcrafted pieces and are not considered defects.
PARTIAL REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)
If a returned item shows signs of use, missing packaging, or unreported damage:

A partial refund may be issued at our discretion.

Customers will be notified by email prior to refund adjustment.
RETURN PROCESS

Submit your return request via email or our return center.

Wait for approval and return instructions.

Securely package the item with all original materials.

Ship using a carrier of your choice and provide tracking.
Please note:

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Original shipping and upgrade fees are non-refundable.

A 25% restocking fee may apply unless opting for store credit or exchange.

Items received damaged or without prior approval may not be accepted.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after inspection.
COLOR ACCURACY
Please note that screen displays may vary. While we strive for accuracy, slight color or texture differences may occur. If exact color matching is important, we encourage requesting a sample.
CUSTOM & MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS
All made-to-order and custom pieces are final sale. Once production begins, cancellations or changes are not permitted.
RISK OF LOSS
We take full responsibility for your order until it is marked as delivered. After delivery, liability transfers to the customer. Should you encounter issues, our team is happy to help.
