Refund Policy

Our team is dedicated to providing you with excellent service, but we understand that things can go wrong. That is why we have developed a comprehensive refund policy that prioritizes your peace of mind. You can shop confidently, knowing that we have got you covered in case of any issues. To ensure that you are eligible for a refund or return, please follow these guidelines:


• Your item must be in its original packaging and not used or installed.

• If you received the wrong item, please let us know immediately so we can make it right.

•  If your item arrived damaged or broken, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

• If your item was lost in transit, we will do everything in our power to locate it or provide a replacement.

Refund Eligibility and Timeframe:

To be eligible for a refund, the product must be returned within 30 days after receipt of your goods. Please note that the product must be unused, uninstalled, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when it was received.

*We do not accept returns or exchanges on the following items: furniture, artwork, lighting, mirrors, made-to-order items, custom items, sale items, or gift cards. Returns will not be accepted for the following reasons - item does not fit in the intended space, no longer want, no longer need, etc. If your item is marked as FINAL SALE or MADE TO ORDER, it is not eligible for return. 

 *We do not offer refunds on customized orders or items that do not meet sizing requirements (please ensure you check the item size before purchasing or speak to a member of our team for further details).Once production has commenced all costs of production have been incurred therefore a cancellation is no longer possible, and the custom order cannot be refunded.

*We encourage you to reach out to our Customer Support team at info@lagaleriealamode.com for fabric + finish samples, product details, and estimated ship dates prior to placing your order to ensure satisfaction upon arrival. 

 

DEFECTIVE/DAMAGED PRODUCTS

In the event that you are delivered a faulty or damaged product, kindly inform us within 48 hours of receipt. We will guide you through the return process and provide you with a full refund. It's important to note that prior to authorizing the return, we may ask for photographic evidence or other forms of verification of the defect or damage.

If you are returning an item due to damage, defect, or a shipping error, please get in touch with our customer care team, and a claims specialist will reach out to you with resolution options. DO NOT return damaged or defective items without filing a claim and getting approval from our team first.

 

REFUSED DELIVERIES

If you cancel an order while it's in transit or refuse delivery for reasons other than damage, a restocking fee of 25% will be applied. You will only be eligible for store credit. This fee covers the expenses incurred during the process of handling and processing the returned item. To ensure a refund, we recommend that you initiate a return case instead of refusing delivery. Please note that refusing delivery does not guarantee an automatic refund.

 

RETURN PROCESS

 To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  • Firstly, please submit your return request through the return center on our website. This is necessary to ensure that your return is approved for a refund, exchange, or store credit. We want to make sure your return is processed smoothly, so please make sure to submit your return request through our website first.
  • Next, you will need to organize the return with your desired carrier and purchase a return label. Please be aware that refunds exclude original shipping charges, warranty charges, and shipping upgrade charges. Additionally, the refund will not include a 25% restocking fee and original shipping charges unless you opt for an exchange or store credit. 
    • Once your return request is approved, we'll send you a shipping label for the product's return. Please ensure that you package it securely in its original packaging and include your name, order number, and packing slip in the returned parcel. We'll inspect the product upon receipt to ensure it is in the same condition as when we sent it to you. After verification, we'll process a full refund to your original payment method. 
    • Once a refund has been issued, you will be notified via email. Please allow up to 5-7 business days for the refund to post back to your account. If an item arrives at our warehouse damaged in any way without mentioning the damages to our team before making the return, customers will not be eligible for a full refund. 

     

    HOW DO OVERSIZED RETURNS WORK?

    If you have received an oversized item, such as furniture or light fixtures, and wish to return it, please reach out to info@lagaleriealamode.com to arrange the return. Please note that due to the size of these items, we are unable to provide ground return labels. In case of freight returns, the refund will be issued after deducting the original shipping and handling charges, along with a 20% restocking fee from the original product price. You may submit your return request within 30 days of delivery.

     

    COLOR NOTE

    Please keep in mind that because every computer monitor displays color differently, the actual product color and how it is displayed on your screen may vary. However, we at La Galerie à la Mode strive to ensure the image portrays colors, shades, and textures accurately. If precise color is important in your decision, we suggest reaching out to our customer service team at info@lagaleriealamode.com for clarification.

     

    RISK OF LOSS

    We assure you that our team will take care of your shipping requirements from beginning to end. We accept full responsibility for any losses that may occur during the shipping process and will ensure that your package is delivered safely. After you have received your items, it is your responsibility to assume any risk of loss, but we are always available to assist you in any way possible.
